Job Title: Associate Graphic Designer
Department: Product Marketing, Strategy & Innovation
Position Reports to: Creative Director
Employment: W2 Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt 
Location: St. Augustine, FL Distribution Center (Distribution Center will be relocating to Palm Coast, FL).
 

Position Purpose:
The Associate Graphic Designer supports the creation of visual campaign content, collaborating with members of the PMSI team to produce materials for print and digital media, while continuously adhering to brand standards and meeting efficient deadlines. 

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
  • Contribute creative designs for quarterly campaign initiatives.
  • Design and implement marketing collateral, as needed, and provide creative input on projects.
  • Support in-house photography and videography requirements to include; acting as the photographer and/or videographer of products, lifestyle imagery for a variety of uses.
  • Create quarterly product release/seasonal survey/ad hoc guides for system distribution.
  • Coordinate with Product Development team to understand release cycle, marketing support requirements, and provide creative support, as needed.
  • Support the organization with image optimization/resizing, color correction, and development of company imagery.
  • Manage all updates of consumable labels for the Franchise System to include mock-ups.
  • Print labels and packaging as needed for proofing / mock-up purposes.
  • Aid in the development of content messaging.
  • Work with Content Marketing Specialist to upload and maintain pieces on Vya platform.
  • Support task tracking for marketing assets (Monday.com).
  • Review materials to ensure brand consistency and suggest improvements, as needed.
  • Maintain Custom Ad Request in-box and design fulfillment for store Franchises regarding custom requests and initiatives.
  • Support on-site merchandising initiatives, as needed.
  • All other duties and functions, as assigned.
 Knowledge and Job Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Graphic Design, related field, or comparable professional experience. Bachelor’s degree, a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience preparing a variety of print collateral to meet printer specifications. 
  • Knowledge of printing process and basic production terms, a plus.
  • Understanding of visual design elements (e.g. layout, color, typography).
  • Detail-oriented; highly observant and meticulous. 
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, team player, and critical thinker.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks for efficiency, and adhere to scheduled deadlines.
Physical Requirements to perform the essential functions of this job:
  • Consistent ability to utilize hands and fingers to perform tasks as necessary for job duties, which may include operating machinery, handling materials, typing, and designing (8+ hours per day).
  • Consistent capacity for visual acuity to monitor processes, examine materials and labels, and ensure quality standards are met (8+ hours per day).
  • Consistently communicate in English utilizing both written and oral methods including the use of speech and hearing to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and the ability to engage in verbal discussions and listen attentively (8+ hours per day).
  • Consistent ability to perform various physical tasks that require continuous standing (8+ hours per day), sitting (8+ hours per day), walking (8+ hours per day), bending (8+ hours per day), reaching (8+ hours per day), squatting, (3-5 hours per day), lifting; up to 50 lbs. (8+ hours per day), carrying (8+ hours per day), pushing/pulling (3-5 hours per day), and maneuvering within an office workspace (8+ hours per day).
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks (8+ hours per day).
  • Ability to visually identify marketing products, materials, visual designs, and their characteristics (8+ hours per day).
  • Operation of, but not limited to computer tools and equipment, printers and equipment (8+ hours per day).
  • Consistently work around spices; must not be sensitive or allergic to various scents, spices, fruits, extracts, aromas, or personal protective equipment (latex gloves) (8+ hours per day).
