Objective:
- Ensure each guest receives a stellar experience and is welcomed into the store and greeted with our custom step-in lines.
- Field questions concerning product information, the uses of our products, and pricing.
- Establish rapport with guests to ensure their return and/or word of mouth advertising.
- Maintain merchandise and product inventory levels throughout the store (on shelves, counters, tables and containers).
- Help maintain store appearance by contributing toward daily routines.
- Assess store inventory levels; notify management of replenishment requirements.
- Price merchandise with labels, SKU’s, prices and locations.
- Maintain solid, accurate, and current product knowledge to adequately promote product by reading applicable publications and attending required training activities.
- Comply with operating standards and procedures pertaining to the daily operation of the store.
- Contribute to the team effort and embody the Disney keys of Inclusion, Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency.
- An engaging personality with proven customer focus and all-star customer service skills.
- Proven experience in a similar role. This includes Guest Experience Associate, Product Experience Associate, Guest Engagement Associate, and culinary oriented positions.
- Strong understanding of the retail sales process. This includes using exceptional communication skills, cross-selling, up-selling, and basic math skills.
- Ability to work a consistent and reliable schedule: This position requires evening and weekend availability.
- Store hours: Sun-Thurs: 10am-11pm, Fri & Sat: 10am - 11:30pm.
- Ability to work holidays, a plus.
- Interest and ability to share knowledge of our many product varieties.
- Ability to pivot and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Appreciates spice aromas.
- Ability to operate kitchen tools and food equipment (Tea Bar).
- Physically able to assemble and prepare merchandising displays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 100% of the time).
- Ability to lift and maneuver inventory; up to 35lbs.
- Consistently work around spices; must not be sensitive to various scents and aromas.
